The Orchard Room

"Wonderful but too short of a stay. Wish we'd found you sooner. We'll be back." Camel, USA - April 2009

The Orchard Room has been well loved by all who have visited. It is light and spacious at 350 sq ft (33 sq m) with high ceilings (a novelty for Kent houses!) and has a lovely outlook through three sets of French Doors onto our Apple and Pear Orchard and the surrounding fields. Not only does it have a Super King Size Bed but ample room to relax in its own seating area with sofa, huge and comfortable Edwardian armchair and flat screen TV with FreeSat.

The large shower room is no less impressive having a walk in double size 1600 x 800mm shower and full height glass brick tiled screen.

Hopefully you can get a flavour from the photos but be assured guests have returned again and again!

Ideal for longer stays.

The Hopper's Room

"It's just a wonderful place to stay. An English cottage as I dreampt it. The breakfast is excellent.
We're delighted and will recommend it to our friends."
Marline & Francois, Calais, France.

The Hopper's Room was the first accommodation we refurbished and opened when we started our Bed & Breakfast. It is a lovely old building with a vaulted oak framed ceiling. We're not quite sure for what it was originally intended for but think it was used for Hopper's who came to Kent for working holidays.

It has its own en-suite shower room and a Super King Size bed and also has an outlook onto The Orchard.

The Oak Room

As the name suggests The Oak Room is in the oldest part of the house and displays a typical Kentish oak framed house in all it’s glory. The timeworn 16th century wide plank floorboards have been lovingly restored and combined with the wooden vaulted roof frame create a clean and bright space. Although it is within the house guests are self contained and have their own large private bathroom.

The bedroom has a King Size metal framed bed and wall mounted HD TV. Whilst due to the age of the house the bedroom is small there is also an adjoining large Dressing Area which also has the benefit of two armchairs to relax in and watch a second HD TV.

Please note there are roof ties in the Dressing Area which give some restricted head height.

Perfect for a shorter stay and lover’s of period properties!

Internet and Wi-fi...

broadband are available through a wireless network connection in each room. Just ask for the key when you arrive.
